Thank you for your gift! With your support, we are able to care for the homeless pets in our community. Lee County Humane Society is a 501(c) non-profit organization that cares for approximately 6,000 pets each year.

Sign up for a Monthly Gift to LCHS

A monthly commitment to our shelter means that we can depend on your donation and make plans for the future of our shelter and the animals in our care.

A Monthly Gift of

• $25 can help provide vaccines for a shelter pet while it is in our care
• $50 can help provide a spay sugery for a kitten
• $100 can help provide dog food at the shelter for 10 days

You can sign up to make a monthly gift at one of these amounts or any amount of your choice. To sign up, please contact Stacee at 821-3222 ext. 15 or stacee@leecountyhumane.org. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, but your gift will make a lasting impact on the mission of our shelter.

If your gift is in honor or memory of a loved one, please share the family’s address with us so that we may send a letter acknowledging your gift.

Wish List (In-Kind Donations)

In-kind goods may be brought to the shelter during our normal operating hours. Tuesday-Sunday 8:30-5:00 and Monday 8:30-2:00. Visit our Wish List to check out the items that we can use on a regular basis.

Hold a Donation Drive for LCHS

Download a copy of our Wish List. Share it with your friends or co-worders and hold a donation drive at your school or business. Please contact stacee@leecountyhumane.org to arrange a time for pick-up or delivery.

Coordinate a Fundraiser for LCHS

Thank you for your interest in planning a fundraising event or activity on behalf of Lee County Humane Society.  Your time, dedication, and love for animals are very much appreciated!

Please contact stacee@leecountyhumane.org at least four weeks before your scheduled fundraiser to allow for review and approval of your event or activity. This also will give us sufficient time to help promote the fundraiser to our supporters and list it on our Facebook page.

Don't forget to ask your employer if they have a matching gift program that will match whatever funds you and/or your colleagues raise for LCHS!

So what can YOU do?

• Organize a "bring your dog to work day." Charge a small fee to bring your dog to the office and donate the proceeds to LCHS!
• Have a bake sale, lemonade stand or dog wash and donate the proceeds to LCHS!
• Celebrate your birthday, wedding, anniversary or another milestone by asking your friends and family to make a donation to LCHS. *We can arrange a tour of the shelter a greeting on our sign for your child on their birthday. Contact stacee@leecountyhumane.org to schedule a tour.
• Do you work in a restaurant or retail store?
• Hold a benefit night for LCHS and donation a portion of the proceeds to our shelter.
