A couple of weeks ago, I communicated with a couple in Macon, GA about a German Shepherd they adopted from the Lee County Humane Society. This is a follow-up I received from them about how everything is going.

He has already gotten his rabies shot last week.
He is such an awesome dog! He is SOOOO well-behaved, we don't even crate him during the day, and he just gets free-reign of the house while we are away.
He is already such a WONDERFUL addition to our family.
He learns incredibly fast too. In the first day, I have taught him that in order to go outside he must go to the front door and sit and wait for one of us to clip on his leash. So, whenever he sees the leash in my hands, he goes to the front door and sits and waits patiently for me to come clip it on. He is GREAT!
We start obedience training at PetSmart on June 19th.
