The Junkman's Ball will be Friday, April 17 from
5:30-8:00 p.m. at the old Steve and Barry's location in the Pepperell
Corners shopping center. This pre-sale for the annual
Newspapers in Education Yard sale will support a number of non-profits,
including the Lee County Humane Society, within the community. When
you purchase a $10 ticket from the humane society half of the proceeds
go to the shelter and the other half benefits Newspapers in Education,
which is sponsored by the Opelika-Auburn News.
Tickets may also be
purchased at the OA News or at the door on the night of the event.
When you purchase your ticket make sure your select LCHS as the charity

The Junkman's Ball is a pre-sale for the Newspapers in Education
"World's Largest Yardsale"and also a fun way to support LCHS, visit
with friends, dance and shop! Light refreshments and ice cream will be
served. Auburn Librarian, Eve Kneeland, will be presenting children's
stories throughout the evening. Children's admission is free!
