Goree's Furniture to hold Donation Drive for LCHS

Goree’s Furniture Express will hold a donation drive benefiting the Lee County Humane Society during the month of August.  

Donations needed for the shelter include dry dog food, dry puppy food, dog biscuits, cat litter, bleach, laundry detergent, and collapsable crates.  Participants in the Goree’s Furniture Express donation drive for the Lee County Humane Society will receive a coupon which is good for a 10% discount off of a purchase at Goree’s.  Donations should be dropped of at Goree’s Furniture Express which is located at 3797 Al Highway 169 in Opelika.

Goree’s will end the donation drive for the shelter by accepting donations at their booth at the Lee County Humane Society’s annual fund-raiser Woofstock on August 22 at Kiesel Park in Auburn.  Goree’s is a proud sponsor of the 9th annual Woofstock and encourages those who attend to bring a donation to the event to support the animals.

All donations received from at the 2009 Goree’s Furniture Donation Drive for LCHS will directly benefit the animals at the Lee County Humane Society.
