What to bring if you are adopting a pet:
- If you don't own your home bring a copy of your lease pet agreement with you.
- A receipt if you must pay a deposit to your landlord.
- Any vaccine records you might have for your current pets.
- Your valid driver's license or government issued identification.

Fees associated with claiming your lost pet:
- $12.00 per night if your pet has not been spayed or neutered.
- $8.00 per night if your pet has been spayed or neutered.
- Additional $5.00 one-time per incident processing fee.
$80.00 Adoption Fee includes:
- DHLPP/FVRCP preventative vaccine
- Bordetella (kennel cough) preventative vaccine (for dogs only)
- Dewormer
- Microchip
- 30 days of pet insurance.
- First office visit free to a local veterinarian for a check-up.
Additional Information:
The Lee County Humane Society does not pick up strays. If you are reporting an animal that is running-at-large please contact your local Animal Control.
